So much different atmosphere than the Fenway Park Bowl. Absolute silence, sportscast there was weird. Beaver QB stepped up his game (after the first bonehead sack) about two notches. Amazing through the legs snap with the Jackhammer under center. Sportscasters had never remembered seeing that done before....Right up there next to the banned Fumblerooski.
Really liked seeing Jonathan Smith hand the reins over to Gebbia for a few series in 1st half. Especially giving Tristan another go after his 1st series fizzled. Class act, both of them.
As did I. That really is beaver football. Can you imagine how much that does to build the culture of OSU football? What that means to the players and to gebbia. That's the heart of OSU football that is missing in so many places and why OSU will be successful even if we cant spend like some of the other schools. The players buy in, they are a team and family. Watch the post game presser, those guys love each other.
I am so proud of every Beaver. Class act!! And for sure Kirk Herbstreet now knows there is another great team in the state of Oregon. Now finish the game in Beaver style.

Even with the minor mistakes and miscues, OSU is clearly the superior team. Florida is hurting without their first string QB. This bowl game is a great springboard for the Beavs 2023 season!
that is called "the head coach covering his rear end". Couldn't afford to break a 450+ game streak. Actually pretty funny. Is that all you got Gators??? You couldn't even try to score a TD on 4th down. More kudos to Beaver defense.

When I was a student at OSU in the early 90s, the fumblerooski was one of our best plays!! LOL
