LAS VEGAS — Oregon State pounded Florida 30-3 in the the Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday.
It just means more?
It sure looked like it for the Beavers, who got victory No. 10 this season. Quarterback Ben Gulbranson completed 12 of 19 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown. Running back Deshaun Fenwick rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown.
I wrote a column about how the win set the stage for Oregon State’s next act.
The Gators offense was wrapped up by OSU, managing only 219 total yards and three points in the loss. Florida kicked a field goal in the final minute to avoid a shutout.
Photographer Naji Saker was on the scene at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday to capture the action. His photographs this season have been a treat.

These photographs are super wonderful! Thank you!
So much different atmosphere than the Fenway Park Bowl. Absolute silence, sportscast there was weird. Beaver QB stepped up his game (after the first bonehead sack) about two notches. Amazing through the legs snap with the Jackhammer under center. Sportscasters had never remembered seeing that done before....Right up there next to the banned Fumblerooski.
