EUGENE — Bo Nix threw for 386 yards and four touchdowns as the Oregon Ducks blasted Cal on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.

Final: Ducks 63, Bears 19.

Oregon’s Tez Johnson had 180 receiving yards, Bucky Irving rushed for 89 yards and UO posted 597 yards of offense against the Cal defense.

I wrote a column about Phil Knight. The first time I saw him come out of Oregon’s locker room he was holding the game ball. That was 20 years ago.

They still owe him.
