I am cautiously optimistic. As a Beaver how can I be otherwise? I read where OSU offered Uiagalelie when he was in 8th grade. Interesting how things might pan out.

Pretty easy to get excited about this news. Could be the start of something special for OSU. Jonathan Smith’s blueprint for success may have been accelerated, schedule-wise, thanks to the portal.
I cannot understand for the life of me why anyone, even a happy coach would be smoking inside a restaurant and put it on social media. I like Lanning and like his demeanor, but this was a real “oops”.

I hope DJ works out for the Beavers. His departure from Clemson was probably the best thing for all parties concerned. He needed to go to a new environment because he was going nowhere in Clemson. Personally, I'm kind of leery of situations like this because Utah has had some recent negative experience with highly touted transfers (Jake Bentley and Charlie Brewer).
JC, re your talk with Dillingham. Of course he will deny a distraction. Maybe a couple of follow up questions on play call reasoning would be enlightening!

Reports of the Pac12's demise are proving completely false. The Pac is soaring.
