OSU is 7 years OLDER , your practice field is named AFTER an OSU Beaver , your stadium is named AFTER an OSU Beaver , AND your stadium announcer is an OSU Beaver Alumn.... OSU OWNS the UO DuX...!
At least you got some of the facts correct unlike past posts! You are right Autzen, Brooks and Essig all left Corvallis. It is a lot like the NIL of today, but at that point in their life they chose an opportunity for success and moved on. Fact is - Ducks have 67 wins and Beavs 49 wins (10 ties) in the all time series
Doing a little reading on the history of U of O and OSU today. Found out that when the Eugene school was first created by the state in 1872, the Eugene school was called Oregon State University! Love it. It wasn't until many years later that Oregon Agricultural College got the name from U of O. They truly are sibling schools. Oregon State founded in 1868 and so a few years older.
