The championship game in photos...
LAS VEGAS — Undefeated Washington continued its historic season beating Oregon 34-31 in the Pac-12 Championship football game Friday.
Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. completed 27 of 39 passes for 319 yards in the win. The loss not only knocked Oregon out of the College Football Playoff picture, it was a blow to the Heisman Trophy hopes for Bo Nix.
I filed a column from Las Vegas.
61,195 fans were in attendance at Allegiant Stadium for the final game of the Pac-12 Conference as it currently exists.
The photo gallery from Serena Morones captures the game:

Great heavyweight title fight. The better team won. Twice.
Thanks to Serena Morones for the pics. I watched with my wife, a Husky. I had no dog or duck in the fight. Clearly the better team won. And the better quarterback. Undefeated and beat the media's darling twice. Phil Knight cannot buy a win when it counts. I bet that hurts.
