BERKELEY, Calif. — DJ Uiagalelei threw five touchdown passes and Oregon State ran away with a 52-40 victory over Cal on Saturday night.

Uiagalelei had TD passes of 2, 3, 38, 7 and 2 yards against the Bears. OSU tight end Jack Velling caught three of those touchdown passes and Anthony Gould had seven receptions for 117 yards.

Said Uiagalelei after the game: “I was ready to go.”

I was at Memorial Stadium and wrote a column about Oregon State’s win. Photographer Joseph Dycus was on the scene at the stadium.
