Another good win for the Beavers. Played well without Beers in the fourth. Probably looking at Notre Dame next game. Don’t want to hijack the women’s BB story, but how about Travis Bazzana hitting a lead off HR for the 4th straight game today and then adding a 3 run shot in the 8th.

LOL! If John would post some Beaver Baseball stories you wouldn't have to do it here. Bazzana is a one-man highlight reel every game he plays.

Guardians have the 1st pick in the draft and I know they;ve been scouting Bazzana, They love Stephen Kwan and since Adley has worked out as the #1 overall pick by the Orioles, maybe Bazzana can be the Beavs 2nd one. Such good buzz for OSU. It also was pretty cool to get a 3 game sweep over the purple B10 bound Huskies to silence the Dawgs the same time the Women beat the red Big10 Huskers and deflate Lil Red.

I actually live in Independence OH which is about 10 miles out of Cleveland. Get to see Kwan play all the time.

Cool. Nice place. I grew up in Cleveland, Euclid, and Highland Heights and went to St. Ignatius until my dad moved us west (to Chicago) my senior year in HS I remember watching the Indians in Municipal Stadium (the giant mistake on the lake) taking my dad every year since the Cleveland Plain Dealer gave each kid 2 free MLB tickets if you got straight A's. Greatest motivator in the world for a young kid and led me to my first job at 8 years of age dleivering that paper in the morning for pennies. I still follow the now Guardians and watched them many times in Seattle against the Mariners and a few times in Jacobs /Progressive back for funerals. I love listening to Tom Hamilton and Jim Rosenhaus anytime I can. If Tom Hanks can still love the Guardians from Californai (who was born on my same birthday) I can continue to love them from Oregon. Go Tribe! (or whatever their new politically correct group team name is)..

And by the way for those who don't follow the Guardians I am not making a political statement as I love the new name, bridging the future with the past Who wouldn't after Tom and the Black Keys introduced the Guardian's new name and for those who missed it-watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdWzawuuQZ4

Definitely Washington with their name change to the Washington Footbal Team and subsequent change could have learned a lot from Cleveland. Then again maybe this is a political statement as nothing is done easily in Washington D.C.

Oregon State does great nationally in sports from its Willamette River backwater campus. I lived in Minnesota and Chicago for 33 years. The B1G is highly overrated.

Certainly in baseball and women's basketball, but they did have Caitlin Clark and next year they'll have JuJu Watkins. Too bad we won't have the PAC12 to keep reminding everyone who is better in those sports. Hopefully the Beavs can keep it up as an independent or in the WCC

I still expect a P12 rebuild to maybe P8 or P10. The ACC and B12 are teetering. There will be a big realignment. They think they are better than the rest of the world (but aren't) and so let the B1G and SEC spin off into their own Div X universe.
