LAS VEGAS — An erratic and frustrating Pac-12 Conference season by the Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team crashed to an end on Friday night in the semifinals of conference tournament.
Final: UCLA 75, Oregon 56.
Bruins guard Tyger Campbell scored 28 points. The Ducks made only 3 of 19 shots from behind the three-point arc. UCLA led by only two points at halftime, but blistered Oregon in the second half.
The Bruins (29-4) advanced to Saturday’s championship game where it will meet Arizona. The Ducks (19-14) will wait for an NIT bid.
I asked my followers on Twitter to summarize Oregon’s up-and-down season in exactly three words. Nearly 200 readers responded with their thoughts. The responses were interesting, sobering and telling:
I had a photographer on the scene in Las Vegas, who captured the semifinal game between UCLA and Oregon.

Three words????? How about:
Roller coaster season
Jekyll and Hyde
Hey, but there is a silver lining. If the Ducks couldn't beat UCLA in basketball, at least they beat #16 ranked UCLA in baseball, 6-2!!! I'll take that!!!
No chemistry this year. That's 4 words, not 3, but I don't care...I'm sure Dana wants to flush this season and so do I.
