John, are you aware that baseball season starts this week and here is NO Portland radio sation playing Mariner games? How can this be? How incompetent to not secure this market. I can't be the only fan.
1. Eugene would have to be a great town in order to be a great college town. It's a sad little place that also has a university, and would never, ever be included on a list of great college towns.
2. Somebody tell me what happens when a UW Husky fan writes #GoDawgs on his tweet now. Is Twitter saying they've decided to go out of their way - for no apparent reason - to declare all such tweets to go into the Georgia Bulldogs pile? Is this because of all the catastrophic effects that have happened when people read the tweets and can't tell which is which? And what about #GoDawgz? #GoDawgzzzz? #GoDaWgx? I could G0 on and on. Will Twitter? Will the whinging Georgia fans?
Georgia Fan may be right about the school being founded in 1785. I reckon it's founders were slave owners, being part of the Aristocracy. Not something I would be proud of. Husky Fan doesn't have to wear that. As for Coach Dillingham: I love it. More, please.
I’m certainly no UW supporter….but they’ve been the Dawgs as long as I can remember. I’ve always assumed that the da”W”gs was a clever play incorporating the W from UW into the catch phrase. Why Georgia would be using a W, other than they simply can’t spell dog, is beyond me. Maybe they refer to themselves as the Bulldawgs and I just missed it…

I think #GonetotheDawgs is available
Hashtags... include that among the things I never thought I'd be writing about.
Stay tuned for #scoDawgs. You heard it here first.
I think you're onto something.

I could be wrong, but I believe Seattle now uses “Home of the 12s” instead of 12th Man.
