I don't think you are giving Draymond enough credit, even at this point in his career, on the Warriors. Their defensive rating with him on the floor is 104.2 which would have placed them even further in the top of the ratings last season. Without him, their defensive rating is 112, which would have placed them in the middle of the pack. As an aside, the Blazers focus on defense last year produced a rating of 116.9 for dead last :-) I hope they discipline Green, because a sucker punch has no place in sport but it is being blown out of proportion because it was caught on video. And I would love him, and his tantrums, if he were a Blazer.

You may get your wish. He was bad on the offensive end of the floor. But good on defense. He's got maybe 1-2 more years.

Fully agree and I looked up their offensive efficiency with and without head case. For all the talk of what a great distributor he is, 112.8 with him, 113.8 without him. Problem is I would love him as Blazer coming off the bench, and that is not going to happen.

That punch was violent. Period. He’s lucky Poole wasn’t seriously injured. If I were the Warriors GM I’d suspend him for half the season without pay. I understand practice gets heated among teammates. It happens in all sports. However, that was totally overboard. Green needs to stay away for a while.

Not his first altercation. They're sort of stuck with him. Blazers would probably trade for him.

Draymond never seems to get it, mature, or improve in the mental game. I think patience is growing thin.

In my day that’s how some of the 5th grade boys acted at recess. Some boys just never grow up. Makes me wonder what kind of husbands and dads they become. I don’t think I want to know. IF I did have a clue I’d warn their girl friends to stay clear.

Trade Green. Some moronic owner will give Warriors a couple good draft choices.

John. Have you played football? We have fights at least once a week.

Yes. Four years of HS, two in JC. Scraps happen all the time, yes. But that punch... and Draymond... I wonder if this is over.

Got it. It is a different circumstance. I have not seen the video.I will check it out. Do you write about your own football experience?

The real issue here is how long do you placate and protect a thug???… there’s a huge difference between a scuffle amongst teammates within the heat of practice, and an unprovoked assault…particularly when there’s a pattern of this type of violent behavior…LaGarrett Blount, Latrell Spreewell and Ron Artest come to mind…all are cheap shot artists who have displayed abnormal violent behavior…The excuse that they just got “caught up in the moment” would never hold up in a Court of Law…assault with intent to do serious harm is completely different than a couple of guy’s jawing at each other or one shoving the other…everyone knows the difference…

Draymond punching Poole sort of confirns my long-held beleif that Draymond is a thug.

Lots of testosterone flowin’ in the “big dog” sportsworld. A comparison to fifth graders is perfect.

Draymond has always been a punk. In today’s NBA, he’s a bit of a dinosaur, but I like him - just don’t piss him off.

Warriors are extremely well managed; they know how to deal with D

I agree... but the video is a little alarming.

Seems like everything is more alarming now with cameras everywhere. The nba in the 70’s and 80’s was worse.
