I can’t remover when I saw a Oregon team so unprepared for a gam on all phases office, defense special teams. Let alone their poor tackling. Blocking and being in position on any of the plays. Nix was not the QB for Clemson do what would make them think he would be any better at Oregon. And all the transfers from schools who did not have good teams thatlanagsn had playing. This does not bode well for Oregon going forward. I was almost impossible to watch
I think you meant Auburn, but yes Bo played like he has; mediocre. He was the obvious choice for a first year coach coming into a question mark at QB. He was experienced, available, and “grew up” in Dillingham’s system. I wish could say this was just a bad game, but we were soundly beaten in all phases again, a continuation of last season. Playing a team like that really exposes the reality of how poorly our talent was evaluated and/or developed. If we can find an answer at QB, then with good leadership, and a lot of grinding we can be in contention again in a couple of years. Feels like we are starting over again. So strange to say with a roster littered with 4-5 star talent.
Charlie Daniels Band had a similar type song but they used imagery in the form of a fiddle made of gold and the devil challenging Johnny to a fiddle duel. Spoiler alert: Johnny won and mocked the devil to come on back if he ever wanted to try again.
Uncle Phil (Phil Knight) with his head down looking dejected on the sidelines. A picture is worth 1,000 words. I believe Uncle Phil is approaching 90-years-of-age. He's probably wondering where have all the good times gone . . . . Ducks were much better with Chip Kelly as head coach. I believe they were 46-7 under Kelly. Now it appears Kelly and UCLA will dominate the Pac-12 in 2022. Did you see that thumping they put on Bowling Green? Kelly's back and better than ever.

Steve Mix played for the Philadelphia 76ers back in the day (1970s) . Bo Nix plays QB for Oregon right now.
These photos are great! Sorry that our season opener doesn’t look as good!
That second interception was horrible, but I'm actually more disappointed in the defense. Very poor tackling, and that is Lanning's side of the ball.
This is so ugly John. I really hope we don’t have suffer through terrible QB play again this year.
Amen
The Ducks went down to Georgia,
they were looking for a game to steal.
They were in a bind, quickly way behind,
and Old Phil was looking for a deal.
When he came across a Bulldog,
drinking a Terrapin -- cause man, it was hot.
Old Phil jumped onto a hickory stump
and said, Bulldog, let me tell you what.
I guess you didn’t know it but Georgia wears Nike too.
And if you care to take a dare, I’ll make a bet with you.
Your Dawgs play pretty good football,
but give Old Phil his due.
I’ll bet some Air Jordans, against your Dawgs
Cause the Ducks are better than you.
The Bulldog said, my name’s Stetson, and it might seem rash
but I’ve seen your Ducks and I’m sorry for you,
because all they’ve got is flash.

Why doesn’t he get mix out of there. He is making the same mistakes he made at Clemson
Auburn
They look slow. This is a really poor way to start. Lots of issues.

UGA…as in ugghha. can’t count the missed tackles. Looked like the Ducks were playing in slo-mo…
Worst opener I can remember! (Class of ‘64)
The good news: Ducks won't see anyone in Georgia's class again this season. The bad news: where do I begin?
Pathetic in all phases of football !
Can’t wait for the Civil War….!!
OSU 48, Dux 6
The Ducks at Alton Baker Park look tougher and are much quicker.
No worries Duck fans. The competition gets a lot easier when Pac-12 conference play begins.
why is Nix still playing in a rout? Dumb coaching. See how tough he is against the 3rd string? BAH!
Not up to the task of scoring against the 3rd string. Sayonara Bo.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??
Oregon was not ready, defense or offense. The good news is, expectations are now lower.
