Third time is a charm for the Ducks this season.

Arizona wins the first two and Colorado did the same. I'll take the last games of the tournament against those teams any day.

Fitting in a way that the Tall Timbers led off the NCAA tournament in1939 by winning it, and our Ducks end the PAC 12 run by winning the last one.

John, you said earlier in the week that Altman needed to smile more. At the awards ceremony he really tried a couple of times, but his face couldn't seem to hold one for long.

I don't think he's retiring anytime soon.

I'm a believer, GO DUCKS.

It just broke my heart listening to the Pac 12 announcers say their goodbyes during the Arizona semifinal. It was their final game.. So much tradition, so many memories, and good people losing their jobs. It really hit home what is being lost. Thank you to all the people behind the scenes over the years at Pac 12, the unsung heroes who made it all The Conference of Champions, who made it work despite the hubris, cowardice and incompetence of their leadership. Goodbye and thank you!

Glad to see long time players like Dante and Couisnard make it to the big dance. BTW…defense won this game. 10 steals to 1 and 13 turnovers to 3. Outside of Dante the Ducks did not shoot well but they played excellent defense and Dante carried them on offense in the second half.

We are lucky to have Coach Altman. Great teacher. Love the guts this team has. At times they are tough to watch but Dana can flat out coach.

Considering the stakes for the Ducks and what happened last night, that performance by Dante was one of the best I've ever seen. That block at the end where he then hustles to keep the ball in play to put the final nail in Colorado's coffin was just the cherry on top.

The Pac-12 should have four teams in the dance. Unfortunately for Colorado a lot of bids were stolen today, so I'm not sure they'll get in. ESPN does have them in right now. I know WSU is supposed to be a lock, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if Arizona and Oregon are the only two. We all know how often western teams get screwed over. As a Coug fan I'll breathe a lot easier after the selection show.

I'd say the character, mental toughness and want-to od this group is reminiscent of Dana's best Oregon teams. Super happy to see Dante and Cuisinard get a shot at the Dance.

Good for the Ducks! I watched the last 2 games and they played with grit and heart. Dante is a powerhouse. That swat of 3 attempt at game’s end & then save from out-of-bounds back to hands of teammate was ridiculous. Hope they can make it to Sweet 16 at least.

The Conference of Champions comes to a (premature? Unnecessary?) close with a Ducks victory. I was texting with a fellow alum about the great coaching this league has enjoyed, from Ralph Miller to George Raveling, John wooden to Dick Harter. And now Dana Altman belongs on this esteemed list.
