Excited for September. Wishing Lanning and Oregon good luck.

John being a beaver fan, seems to me like a revolving door at quarterback could be a problem for the ducks. Bringing in a 1 year fix every year gives you nothing to build on. No more Anthony brown which means ty Thompson still has no experience! And watch, unless Lanning is different, Thompson could stay only to get no playing time!

Thank the transfer portal for some of that. Plus the coaching turnover we've had to deal with hasn't helped .

Always remember, it is a game and they are West Coast kids playing Russian Roulette with QBs under as a middle aged man's routine playmanship, Sometimes miracles happen. drjimxlaw64@gmail.com

From the 'for what it's worth' file: cocensus on the Oregon Football Twitter Space agrees Nix is the guy - but don't share the view that Thompson is the next up. Lots of comments suggesting he lacks confidence, has trouble making routine throws and maybe Mario C had good reasons for not playing him more. For what it's worth.

Comically, the armchair QBs in our fan base lobby to bench our vets, and sometimes NFL quality vets at that, for 4-5 star freshmen. They are sure that top-tier 99th percentile coaches who’ve been around high level football for their entire adult life, and are coaching the players every day (and many times recruiting them for years prior), have clearly not evaluated their players correctly. Unicorn freshmen are very rare. The majority take years of development and don’t live up to the stars they were stamped with.
