Nike attracted a lot of folks with their wiz bang campus. Those days are over. Their workforce scattered to the four winds during Covid and they're resisting the plan to return. They're suddenly forced to compete in a world where location and lifestyle matter and they're losing. Phil might have gotten it three decades ago, but those days are over.

Now, counterpoint. Zion spent the last year rehabbing in Beaverton. I'd be curious why and what lessons can be learned from that which could be applied to bringing top-level folks out here. There's something there.

Only a %50 million Lillard contract? I'm sure he's angling for a lot more than that.

If uncle Phil buys the Blazers maybe the franchise will start investing in some big men instead of guards all the time. Keep Billups I think he is a great players coach. He will bring in some hard nosed defensive players.

Good one. I have called it the Snoregonian for the past 15 years.

A real shame. When I moved here in the 80s, the Oregonian was a highly respected daily that scored the occasional Pulitzer. Technology and the translocation... the (Orange County Register North) and the Oregonian became tabloid trash.

I applaud you for severing ties and am thrilled with what you are offering now. Glad it is beneficial to your life also, of course!!
