I see big tests up and down the schedule. Based on what we all saw, the Ducks are going to have their hands full. Fresno State is a big foe and the Beavers will have to be close to flawless to win. I like Arizona at home, but that will be a dogfight.
For OSU to win, Chance Nolan must play a "perfect" game mentally. No silly errors like trying to throwing out of bounds but gifting an interception to a defender, etc. I agree the Beavers defense is ready but they must prevent big yardage plays.
Best article written on Mighty Oregon was written by Ken Woody in Tuesdays Eugene Register Guard. He pulled no punches about their pathetic performance. From Coaches To players.
Oregon State is the “Sleeper” in the Conference . Focus focus on winning,
Caring less about uniform combinations , tunnel vision on winning the Pac 12 Championship . Let the other 11 enjoy their hype. The “Black Bandits” of Benton County, will get it done .!
What if the Four Corners schools aren't the plan? What if the gamble is to stick to the Big 12 profile of "going country" and taking Fresno State, Oregon State, Washington State and Boise State? Gotta think OSU and WSU would jump at that. Both schools would have to assume that UO and UW are good as gone anyway, so they might as well bail and take the best offer they can get (which, conveniently, comes from the Big 12).
I don't see a Pac-12 school leaving the conference for the Big 12. To make a move like that you'd need to get a substantially better situation -- more money, better conference, etc. The Big 12 doesn't offer that. It's a lateral move. I think it's just noise.
Beavers game will be a test. Cannot wait. Congrats Derek Anderson.

Seems about right on those (poor) Big Sky teams vs. the Pac-12, especially SUU vs Utah.

What is this craziness??? SEC team actually going on the road against a non conference opponent
Mike Leach... outlier.
I think the WSU defense keeps the game in Madison relatively low scoring and close.
I wanted to pick the Cougs in an upset special, but they didn't give me enough evidence in Week 1.
Canzano is a Pac10 hack fighting a hopeless battle. Wilner has some integrity left but not Canzano. PAC 10 is a dead man walking.
Go Ducks and Go Beavs!!!
