Nice investigation on the substandard ESPN truck! Way to track it down John.

Who would have thought it took so much for us beer drinking, nachos/popcorn eating fans to lay on our couches for 3 hours to watch our favorite team. Coming from an age when we wrapped foil around the antennas to get ANY picture I am amazed that this gets the attention it does. Thanks again John for all your info.

I thought it was my TV. Then, I wondered if it was the cables. Then, I wondered if my connection speed (Hulu?) was to blame. Turns out, it was the trucks.

I recall the 'fuzzy screen' game well, even though I was watching from the other side of the world on ESPN Australia, which gives us just enough College FB to keep the shakes away amid the Cricket, Aussie Rules, Rugby, Football (not gridiron!) and motor sport normally shown. I knew something was up with the broadcast, having just got a new pair of glasses. I appreciated you digging out the truth then JC, and hope this does not repeat. Keep speaking truth to power. It's more important now than ever.

Jonathan Smith is getting robbed! He would only get half of what Lanning gets for some of the same accomplishments, winning 10 games and winning the Conference, at a place where it is infinitely harder due to resources, brand power, past history, etc.
