It almost seemed like Lanning and Dillingham went back and watched old 2009-2011 film of Oregon. Swinging gate look??? Onside kick, going for it on 4th down. Almost looked like they were trolling Chip.

After four miserable years of sitting through underwhelming performances with bad coaching, it was so refreshing to watch this team. It’s fun again.

Spot On! So, so good to see a team play up to its potential and not down to the level of inferior opponents like Miami did Saturday at home vs Duke.

John, I have been waiting for a column like this for years! This game was won by one of the best Duck teams I have seen over the last 45 years!! What a thrill for a 79 year old Duck.

Hey Karl, Bill Wolff here. I was in Dave’s class at CHS! Well said, I agree totally. Class of ‘67 UO.

Coach Lanning, you have another believer. The Ducks were organized, seemed to have a plan and a purpose, and most important (in addition to Bo's arm) a whole lot of "want to.""

Excellent, and congratulations. A great day in Autzen, and for Coach Corso on GameDay.

Speaking of Mario, his Hurricanes got waxed by Duke. Yikes! 😳😅

In the last ten years, every coach who voluntarily left Oregon for the "next best thing" hasn't done well. I think Mario's headed in the same direction. It turned out well for UO thus far.

He maybe done. No matter if he’s a son that came back to his alma mater. Miami won’t put up with it. Great recruiter but terrible coach.

This coaching staff is convincing me they can coach as well a recruit. Masterful game plan and execution of it.

Big win, game day…..seemed like old times may be back

I'm beginning to wonder if Oregon has caught lightning in a bottle for the second time. Chip had a great run in Eugene, what might Dan Lanning do in the next few years? GO DUCKS!!!

Before the game, I was concerned the Ducks would get out-coached. I am so glad I was wrong. There is a lot of football left to play this year, but this coaching staff and their team are for real!

And we can all hope against hope that Ken Dillingham sticks around for more than just a cup of coffee. That offense looks great. (of course, a great o-line helps a lot)

Jarmond didn’t know Oregon’s offensive line was that good?

Has he been living in a cave?!

No, he's been living in the Midwest with the rest of his new B1G buddies. And across the B1G conference he has been watching a whole lot of mediocre football.

That first half was one of the most dominant halves we’ve seen as Oregon fans…and given our offense over the years, that’s saying a ton. This offensive line is legit…

Another outstanding article, John. I read Mario’s “I take full responsibility for this loss” coach speak analysis after Miami’s loss today and thanked my lucky stars that our beloved Ducks have moved on from all of that. Boy have they ever! Lightening in a bottle is a great description of this coaching staff and what they have accomplished this year. I’m going to savor the moment because it’s going to be hard for Dillingham to resist the money and head coaching opportunities that will no doubt come calling from other programs who would like a taste of this lightening.

Oregon is the real deal. They just continue to get better and better and are believing more and more they can do this!

Impressive across the board. Bo Nix v 2 might be the best QB in the conference at the moment. Most impressive of all to me is the way this team can run the ball. One game at a time, I know - but if the Ducks play the rest of the season like they did today - really, have all season since the GA beat down - they will not lose again this season.

Cannot let down at CAL. The Berkeley Ducks coaching staff will have CAL fired up to beat Oregon.

Where do I begin with my observations. I believe that this contest may be in the top 3 of the cleanest, most complete games played by the Ducks in a long, long time.

- Not a lot of penalties

- Not a lot of dropped passes

- minimal mental mistakes

Even the most minute of observations. When the Duck player was ever-so-slightly pushed on the sideline by #15, he sold it beautifully for a penalty. Like you said, John....Cristobal would not have called an onside kick. Neither would Helfrich, Taggert....probably not even Bellotti.

l predict the Ducks will rise to maybe #7 or #8 in the polls. They still have a chance at a playoff spot. SGO DUCKS!!
