This article is disappointing. Of course Cameron has been successful, she’s been able to benefit from her privilege. Don’t get me wrong, to be at Stanford she’s had to work hard, but she’s had doors open for her because of her parents that most other athletes have not had.

There are several Oregon athletes who played in March Madness this year (and last year) but no mention of them. This article mentions the Stanford vs UConn game but doesn’t mention Brink will be playing against Oregon athlete Evina Westbrook. Also, I find it funny that Brink gets all this PR but if you ask her fellow teammates and past competitors from over the years she is NOT known as a “players player”. The media loves her, I wonder if her being white and wealthy has anything to do with it. When will we see an article on Evina Westbrook, Bendu Yeany, or Aaronette Vonleh?
