Oh wow Lexy myself and my family cannot thank you enough Mr. Canzano (John) for this amazing emotional moving story of my daughter and her incredible supportive Warner Pacific University ladies basketball team coached under Matt Gregg . you even had me in tears I can't even find a way to thank you enough for this when I met Mr. Norm Maves and he told me that he was going to take pictures and send them to you I was flabbergasted & so blessed I met him. You have an amazing talent for telling the story and you told it from the beginning to the end and I am grateful beyond measure and thank you from the bottom of my heart along with my family for this beautiful composition

Sincerely with so much Gratitude

Monica, Dante Cameron & Lexy

John. My oh my .... you know how to make a grown man cry .... !....reading the story about Lexy makes one realize how little important chasing money , by playing sports is ...!...a great inspirational story and certainly shows that Warner Pacific knows what IS really important in life -cherishing the Life of others !

Let us all pray for Lexy . What she brings to that college campus is unmeasurable !!!!

What a wonderful and encouraging story John! Definitely puts things in perspective. Stories like this always makes me muzzle my seemingly infinite capacity to complain about minutiae that I’ve built into Mt Everest. Thank you for the reality check. What hero’s Lexy and her family are, thank you for introducing us.

Dude, awesome story about Lexy! It brought a tear (or more) to my eyes. I stumbled across you about 6 months ago with all the college sports realignment rumors/happenings. I live in Texas but have close ties to Colorado and California.I love your writing!

Wow. I guess I'll stop complaining about the rainy weather, the rising cost of beer and that darn hangnail I've got. Yet another fabulous article, John, about yet another fantastic person you've introduced to the world at large. Thank you, and we also want to extend a huge thank you to Lexi and her parents for providing us a lesson about love and perseverance.

Great story - but more importantly, how can we financially help this family?

Have you ever written a bad article? You are not a sports writer you are a writer. A great writer that has the unique ability to recognize a story and then to convey the essence of the story to the readers.

Some schools, and some people just ‘do the right thing’. So heartwarming…..and heartbreaking.
