Scott is in the Hall of Fame at Western Oregon University for basketball. He was also a member of the vaunted 1985 “Airwolf” Football team that went deep in the national playoffs. He is being inducted as member of that team this September. When I informed him and his wife of the additional induction he was so very humble and and surprised. He is genuine person, a dude, a great athlete and has been married to his high school sweetheart for a very long time. Just an incredible guy! All the prayers in the world to him and his.
John Great Story Please keep us informed about how Scott is doing if it wasn't for you we would never ever know about these stories Thank you for That Mike
Another wonder story of hat makes a person humble. I’ve known many people like Coach Keller always putting their worries after helping others. God Bless Coach Keller and his family.
I'm typing with a crack in my voice and a lump in my throat. Great story, we all hope that we can respond to this kind of adversity half as well as Scott. Prayers for him and his family!
Awesome guy and what an inspiration to so many people! Thanks for sharing this story and so many like it!! I was in my car for quite some time on Friday evening , driving back from Portland. I had the opportunity to listen to your interview with Marshall Cho. It was fantastic. The Portland metro area is very fortunate to have many selfless, thoughtful, coaches like this coaching in the public schools! Great coaches but even better human beings to positively impact future generations!!!
Great piece on a great guy! Officiated many, many games over the years for Scott and he was always very courteous, even when we missed a call. The worst he would say was "You might want to take a look at that one, Jack." I wish all coaches would have that approach, especially at the lower levels, then maybe we wouldn't have such a shortage of officials.
John, perfect story for a Sunday morning. One only hopes the sermons preached throughout the day are as touching and inspirational. Thank you.
Damn fine piece, John. Keep up the great work, sir!

Bravo, Marcus Harvey! And I know you'll keep fighting, Scott. You're a warrior! Thanks, JC.
Again, you have written an article that will and does tug at our hearts. Thank you.

We should all be members of Kellar's Krew. That's a gift. And remember what he told his players: "...how lucky they were to be able to suit up."
Another great story. Keep them coming. Makes me realize how lucky most of us are.
