John, thanks for sharing Ashley's guest column. Too often, sports fans do not know about the personalities that bring us the games. Ashley shared a heartfelt column that was a wonderful read.
Thank you Ashley, as a life long PAC fan I needed this closure, your story brought warmth to my heart and hope for a better tomorrow. RIP Pac12, you deserved better and will be missed.
Thanks John for handing over your daily email for one day to Ashley. I've been wondering about her future so I'm very happy to find out we will be seeing her next season covering our 4 schools. Ashley, you wrote a moving column. Over the years I came to respect you so much for your work and just the way you handled the wins and losses. Congrats on your next gig, I'm looking forward to watching and wish you all the best.
What wonderful sentiments, clearly and simply written Ashley--brought tears to my eyes. Saying things in a few words is time consuming and difficult. As Mark Twain once said: "I'm sorry for writing this terribly long letter. I simply didn't have time to write a short one."
Your tributes were impactful to this reader--thanks for sharing them and best of luck to you in the B1G! You're gonna kill it!
Thank you Ashley and the rest of the folks of the Pac 12 Network. Good luck with your future endeavors. Thank you for beautifully written column. It made me tear up. I love the Pac 12 and will miss it dearly. Thank you John Canzano for sharing your space with Ashley. Conference of Champions forever!!!!
Thank you for giving Ashley a platform to say goodbye. I’ve loved watching her and the other anchors she mentioned on football and women’s basketball on the network.
Another heartfelt PAC12 goodbye from someone I really admire. I'm 80 year old Utah Ute fan and both happy and sad to say the last 12 years have been the very best of my life as a college sports fan. The 2022 Rose Bowl experience was a defining moment in my life. Saying goodbye to Bill Walton, Ashley and Yogi is breaking my heart. At least I'll still have the amazing John Canzano to keep me on life support.
Thank you, John......for the umpteenth time, for having the faith to start your venture here. How else would us fans be able to personally read Ashley's farewell? I can't express how much I love the personal touch of reading your stories; sharing in the behind-the-scene experiences of others, as told by your marvelous eloquence.
Thank you, Ashley.....for giving us fans 12 years of your fantastic professionalism and expertise on the Pac-12 network. I'll be praying for your continued success on the Big 10 network and looking forward to watching you there.
Now, I have an even greater hunger for the football season to begin! GO BEAVS!!
Terrific article. Thanks, Ashley for all your great work. While sad there won’t be a Pac-12 channel anymore, glad to hear that we’ll be seeing you on the B1G Network. All the best for continued success.
A great piece that happily reminded me of the great people and great conference we had, and made me all the more sad, and angry at those that wouldn't keep it together, making the worst choices at every turn. This article should win an award.
My heart breaks with the breakup of the PAC-12. Thank you Ashley Adamson for a job well done and to John Canzano for providing the platform for Ashley to connect to the fan base. Success to her and OSU/WSU as they rebuild the conference.
I have been following the PAC 12 since I was in high school 60 years ago and have enjoyed rooting for the schools who represented the wild west against those big schools in the Midwest, the South, and the East. Now as an Oregon Duck I am
now a Big Ten fan!
Have to give a big shout out to everyone that made the PAC12 network my go to place to watch so many sports and to learn about all the schools and the students that did all the work as athletes. It was a joy ti watch all of you even when Oregon did not win all the contests.
Thanks Ashley for keeping the whole thing together as the conference imploded! Looking to the future as all the PAC 12 schools go on a new adventure!
I've followed since the Pac 8, six decades ago. While old allegiances have faded as I moved from SoCal to Oregon, and I traded "blue and gold" and "cardinal and gold" for Green and Yellow, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to wrap my head around "Big Ten Fan." Nothing as constant as change, though, so who knows.
Nicely said. My roots started with the Pac 8 as well. Not sure if I can follow the Big 10 either. (I have no stomach for the SEC). I still have a heart for the Beavs and Cougs. Still trying to wrap my arms on their future.
John, another "human interest" column....and this time sharing your platform with Ashley. What a fitting conclusion for Ashley and all of us. Enjoyed you Ashley so much over the years. Looking forward to seeing your coverage in B10. My best always going forward.
For all the grief the Pac-12 Network took, and for all the TV-related late-night kickoffs we cursed, the Pac-12 Network was great for exposing me to soccer, volleyball, baseball and a lot of college basketball.
And it helped me earn a little extra cash by being a gofer, spotter, stat man, red hat, etc., and to meet some great people like Roxy, Rich Burke, Kevin Stocker, Ben Braun, Don McLean, Elise, the unbelievably nice Anne Schatz, and Brock and Denise in the production truck.

Thank you for being here for it.

Beautifully written, Ashley. Wishing you and yours the very best going forward. ❤️

It's the biggest disgrace in college sports history…. The demise of the PAC-12 is the poster child of incompetence and moral-less greed.
