BERKELEY, Calif. — Oregon is pursuing a spot in the College Football Playoff rankings. Cal tried to get in the way, but got flattened.
The Ducks beat the Bears 42-24 on Saturday. Oregon QB Bo Nix threw three touchdown passes and ran for three more. I wrote a column about the “soft launch” of Nix’s Heisman Trophy campaign.
He’s become difficult to ignore.
Photographer Serena Morones was on assignment at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley. Her LIVE photo gallery is a treat.
