What I meant was he lost to Lou Saban and then eventually won. He also won national championships. Can't win every year but he learned as Lanning must.
I like the photos of families enjoying the trip and chance to see a storied game. A bonus if the parents take the kids to Disneyland and to other venues while in the region.
It was a combination of things. OSU played a complete game...they were on fire from the get-go. Ducks were asleep at the wheel. Blame can go all the way around: coaching, lackluster playing, scheduling, seeding. We had a terrific regular season: 13-0 and won the Big 10 Championship. Nothing to sneeze at! I faith in Coach Lanning and our players. I'm expecting great things next year. Go Ducks!

Kirby got an ass kicking just like Lanning. I guess they do have something in common.
