I am not a gambler, but it was nice to see the Beavs beat the spread and then some. The defense, which was a source of numerous complaints for several seasons, continues to shine. Also nice to see Anthony Gould, who I got to broadcast during his high school days, just keeps having a break out year. The Ducks will need to play a strong “Civil War” game...

Bring back Tom Holmoe! If we are stuck playing non competitive football in the future we might as well find someone other than Wilcox, who has not performed in any way. Of course the AD handed him $25M to stay and put this pathetic product on the field. Attendance is down to about 32k at home and it is time to buy Justin out....the replacement is easy: Troy Taylor who is undefeated at Sac State this year, and is 26-7 in 4 years, turning a pathetic SacraTomato junior university into a Big Sky juggernaut. I lived in Fair Oaks and followed him at Folsom High when he developed UW's QB a few years ago and turned Folsom into a magnet for football...plus it gets rid of a Quack and replaces him with a real Cal Bear!

Purely unwatchable football. At least Sonny Dykes was entertaining. Presser after the game:

"It on me. We have to play better. I have to coach better." Blah blah blah.

It's time for a reboot of the program.

9 yards n the ground and a QB that is constantly running for his life will do that...

How can anyone watch they are never on TV and who goes to games at 7 PM in winter for instance? I agree, but my feeling is either "s**t or get off the pot." What I really mean is that either we quit football and count our Nobel Prizes instead (still no Stanfurdiam), or decide to compete like we did under Tedford and play the game as it is presently constructed...NIL, transfer portal, the whole 9 yards...this in-between mediocrity is a loser bother for the fans and for the money.

How about more slobbering up to Dan Lanning? Could it be he's not the GENIUS you've portrayed him as? Sad!

How disappointing, especially since the email notification for this bad news interrupted my listening to my favourite singer, Dan Vasc. College football may have disappointed me today, but Dan's music never does.

Can Oregon State, and if so how, still make the Pac-12 championship game?
