Dana Altman turned 65 last summer. The University of Oregon men’s basketball coach has seen some stuff. I spoke to Altman on Tuesday about his season, the injuries to his big men, and how dramatically his job has changed.
“For 40 years that I was doing this, the worst thing that could be said about you is that you bought players,” Altman told me. “Now, that’s part of the equation.”
