Canzano: Week 13 picks, thoughts and predictions

Picks for the final week of the Pac-12 regular season.

I took a stroll around Rice-Eccles Stadium a couple of months ago. It was the first Pac-12 Conference football game of the season. Utah was playing at home against Florida.

I soaked up the scene.

I was aware it wouldn’t last.

The final “Pac-12” season has unfolded rapidly. The stories have been great. The competition is fierce. I’m not surprised that the final week of the regular season will kick off with four conference teams in the top 16 spots in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Washington vs. Oregon on Dec. 1 in Las Vegas for the conference title?

Or vs. Arizona?

That will be decided on Friday and Saturday.

While we wait, some additional questions: Have you turned the pages more slowly this season? Lingered a little? Savored this final season? Will you do that on this final weekend, amid some rivalries that just won’t the feel the same next season?
