College football is about perseverance.
I’m due for a big college football weekend, aren’t I?
I went 4-7 against the spread last week. I posted a 5-6 record picking games, straight up. I did worse than a coin flip or a chimpanzee throwing darts. I’m determined to bounce back and finish the next few weeks on a blistering pace.
It’s like Johnny Cash said once: “You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone.”
Or like Phil Dunphy said on the TV show, Modern Family: “Real estate and — to a lesser extent — life is all about perseverance.”
