Tommy Lloyd sent a text message late on Saturday night after the University of Arizona beat Purdue and cut down the nets at the NCAA Tournament Regional Final.
On his way to the Final Four, Lloyd paused, picked up his phone, and sent a group text to his old coaching friends from Gonzaga — Mark Few, Dan Monson, Leon Rice, and Bill Grier.
“Thanks for putting up with me as a young punk,” Lloyd wrote.
