Utah State’s Athletic Director Cameron Walker presented to the university’s trustees earlier this week. He made a case for a boost to funding in athletics. After all, the Aggies want to be competitive in the new-world Pac-12.
As they say, “The answer is money — now, what’s the question?”
Ticket sales, gift giving, sponsorship dollars, and student fees were all discussed by Walker. At one point, the AD put a slide on a screen showing the fiscal year 2024 athletic department budgets of the new-world Pac-12 schools.
It caught my attention.
