Some long-standing sins and a few old ghosts of the Pac-12 Conference were on display in the 990 tax form released on Friday.
Slamming the door on the fiscal year 2024 officially ends an era. I couldn’t help but think about former commissioners George Kliavkoff and Larry Scott as I studied the document. Also, how the conference’s downtown San Francisco headquarters was a moneypit — even on the way out. And who could blame Oregon State and Washington State for taking a fat distribution for themselves?
