My grandkids were at the game last night. One is a huge Adley fan and Adley tossed him a ball in the stands during warmups. Another Baltimore player tossed a ball to his brother. They are hooked forever!
It's all about, the TREE! Adley comes from deep roots established by his impressive grand-father, Ad Rutschman who is soon to be 91 year old. You can read about the Hall of Fame coach in his new book, Winning With Class (order on Amazon). Coach Pat Casey, also had planted roots for winning at Oregon State and both are producing amazing fruit.
I’ve followed this young man from high school Thur college and now the bigs. Exciting time for him and his family. What a nice time for Riley to witness the fruits of his labor in person.
Pat Casey is an Oregon, and American, treasure.
Adley will be one of the greats. Good read.
What a great moment for Adley Rutschman, his family and your readers.
John, nicely done. You left out Jacony Ellsbury in you accolades to past OSU players in the big leagues...wondered why?

The Mariners are everyone's reliable slump-buster.
Kidding aside, I am really happy for Adley. Might he approach the greatness of Dale Murphy in time? I wouldn't bet against it.
All Good!… Ad’s story Great with all the Oregon lineage! Grandpa was Great clear back my Beaverton played against him in Hillsboro ( football) 😎

When I was at Willamette U, Linfield definitely was our nemesis in all sports.
