Canzano: Pac-12 hustling behind the scenes
New-look conference plotting.
San Diego State and Boise State played the most ‘After Dark’ college basketball game of the season on Saturday night.
The Aztecs led by 24 late in the first half.
The game ended up in triple overtime.
Final: San Diego State 110, Boise State 107.
The new-world Pac-12 officially launches on July 1. That basketball game was a highly entertaining scramble. Both teams had win probabilities of 99 percent at different times. It reminded me that there will be a flurry of high-priority decisions made behind the scenes in the coming weeks.
An expansion move left? A rebrand? A tweaked logo? Football scheduling? Conference championship events? Pac-12’s lawsuit with Mountain West?
