The Pac-12 Conference’s relationship with the Mountain West has soured in recent weeks.

There was ‘no deal’ on extending their football scheduling partnership for another season. Those discussions broke down and left the sides far apart. And now, the two Pac-12 schools are encountering some ‘conference-level’ interference in trying to schedule individual MWC teams in football.

At the center of the spat?

A plan for 2025 that one source said is “close to being settled.”
