When Mitch Dahlen was a little kid, he used to ride in the back of his parents’ car on the way home from Oregon State football games. The family tuned into the Beavers post-game show on the radio, and he’d fall asleep on the drive back to Redmond listening to Mike Parker’s voice.
I wish that guy could have heard the OSU post-game radio broadcast on Saturday. Because Dahlen, now the team’s offensive coordinator, engineered a dazzling offensive performance that left Parker and the Beavers fan base buzzing.
It also got someone fired.
Not kidding.
