Canzano: Oregon State digs deep -- dances off
Got time for a fun story about fans storming the field?
Trent Bray was swimming through a sea of celebrating players on Saturday night. Oregon State had just beat Colorado State in double overtime. His team danced about, and suddenly, Beavers fans weren’t just spilling over the railing at Reser Stadium, there was a shirtless guy right in front of Bray.
His arms were wide open.
He was whooping it up.
Bray hugged the guy.
It was Oregon State 39, Colorado State 31. You may question whether storming the field when your team is an 11-point favorite is appropriate. (I don’t mind.) But what’s not debatable is that the Beavers are piecing together a respectable football season when they badly needed it.
