Canzano: Oregon has been playing angry since loss to Washington
Ducks-Huskies rematch next Friday in Las Vegas.
The University of Washington won the Apple Cup on Saturday. The Huskies kicked a last-second field goal, beat rival Washington State 24-21, and put the finishing touch on the only perfect regular season in “Pac-12” history.
Give UW credit.
Being undefeated is a big deal. But also, recognize that Oregon has played angry for six straight weeks. And I suspect the Ducks were secretly happy Washington beat WSU because Oregon would likely prefer to ruin Washington’s magical season itself.
