I love that he is staying home to play college basketball. This is a great player and I give the Oregon coaching staff a ton of credit for keeping some of the best talent in state here.

Sounds like he is determined to follow in Payton's footsteps. If he can have a similar impact at Oregon that Pritchard did, then we'll be in for a fun ride. Great to see kids staying home to play!

Dana is a Hall of Fame coach, no doubt. I love his frank assessment of this season and note, despite being down two starters and playing in a hostile gym, he still coached the Hell out of the players available and won going away. Would not surprise if they won the NIT. Nor if they lost to Texas A&M.

It pleases me immensely to see the best home-grown talent coming to Eugene - and the recruits heading there suggest this 'down year' is an aberration, not a trend in the making.

It’s great that the best talent in the state is going to Oregon. It’ll be interesting to watch Shelstad’s development & if it leads to the NBA.
