Good luck to the Ducks!

Ducks looked so good and played tight defense in the first half. They lost their toughness in the second half and were fortunate to get the win! Hope they can play with grit tomorrow.

We knew going in WSU is the best three point shooting team in the PAC - and that is the only reason this game got close. Sure, UCLA has more top of the roster talent and heaps of big game experience, so yeah, they are rightly favoured over Oregon. Still, the Ducks are deeper than the Bruins, have two seven-footers to protect the rim and UCLA isn't a great shooting team. They win with defense. Let's lace 'em up and see what happens.

Right on John, I believe they want it more! Play for each other and go crazy on defense and with God's help we'll be playing for the PAC 12 Championship. Thank for your coverage. When Rainie in I retired in 1997 from a Reedsport business, when took out an annual subscription to the Registered Guard. We would sometimes get on a week later and other times we'd get 7 in 1 mailing. My.how things have changed. We now have daily access to multiple stores on our beloved Ducks everyday now. I'm usually in bed by 7pm but kept waiting gor your article. I'm usually up at 5am to hit the Gym at 6am. I would like to see our duck win a national Championship in football, basketball, for both men and women. Then I'd love to see our softball team do the same thing and the College World Series and the men as well. GO DUCK. NOTHING LIKE " THUNDER GREEN, AND LIGHTNI G YELLOW. AL and Lora.

It’s been a frustrating team to watch for sure. Hoping they can come out and play inspired basketball for 40 minutes because that’s what it will take to best UCLA.

Exemplifying the problem the conference is having with the new media deal.

I live in South Carolina. Tonight's semi-final games will top off respectively at 9 PM and 11:30 PM eastern time.

The Pac-12 Network has 14M subscribers. How many folk east of the mountain time zone will be watching the 2 games?

Thanks for the review John and Go Ducks!

So, if you're watching both games you're probably not getting to bed until about 2 a.m. Saturday. No thank you!

My bad. The AZ vs ASU game is at 11:30 but is being shown on ESPN.

I am 76 years of age. I'll be lucky to stay awake for the 1st half of the Ducks game.

Larry and the bozos he reported to did not help the conference cause but neither does geography.

Still shaking my head why Ducks deserve another column when the big Portland news in college basketball is our Pilots.

Because this columnist does not work for a Portland media outlet any longer. He's doing his own thing. He wanted it that way, and in part, that's undoubtedly one of the reasons why he left The Oregonian.

I think John can speak for himself. This has nothing to do with the Oregonian... and I know John loves the freedom to write about topics he cares about I love his style. I'm simply asking why another story about the Ducks of Eugene when the biggest sports story in this city is not the Blazers, Ducks basketball, Beavers baseball (really, baseball in the winter) or Timbers... it's the WCC Champion Women's basketball team on The Bluff.

Jaime Jacques Jr starred at my Alma Mater. Adolfo Camarillo High School. UCLA is gonna blow out the birds by 20. But in reality I know nothing about basketball and Inlike Duck fans so….Go Ducks!

Good take Canzano. I think Ducks are a coin toss tomorrow. Much more to play for than Bruins. Oregon talented enough to win. Indeed. Also, it is tough to beat a team as talented as Dana’s Ducks thrice in a season.

Can you please explain to me why this tournament is held in Vegas? Do you see the empty seats? Nevada is not Pac 12! Why not hold it in Chicago? It should rotate between Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, etc. I feel the same way about football.

Hope the Ducks play tough for the entire game. May the roulette wheel spin, to see the ducks win!

Nope. UCLA will beat the oddsmakers. UO received some very generous calls in the second half.

Generous calls lol…game was called tight on both ends of the floor after halftime. There were questionable fouls called on both sides plus an obvious goaltending that wasn’t called. Oregon played UCLA tough both games so we shall see. Go Ducks!!

The only way Oregon wins tonight is if UCLA lets them...by sitting some

of it's starters. It would look good if the conference had 3 teams going

to the Dance.

Coach HAS to figure out how to get his talent to compete for two complete halves

Pretty much sums up the past three seasons for the Ducks

GO DAWGS
