Canzano: Oregon Ducks find identity against Colorado
Wins over clicks... Ducks blast Colorado 42-6.
EUGENE — There was some poetry at play on Saturday when University of Oregon football coach Dan Lanning gathered his team for that rousing pre-game speech.
“They’re fighting for clicks,” Lanning shouted, “we’re fighting for wins.”
A vein bulged in the left side of his neck. His eyes scanned the room. The second-year head coach pointed a finger and gestured. And when Lanning finished his team rumbled out the doors, down the stadium tunnel, and blew the Buffaloes out.
Final: Oregon 42, Colorado 6.
Anyone else think Lanning really wanted this one?
