Petros and Money, the podcast, is fantastic. Matt "Money" Smith is Petros partner for the podcast. He does the local play-by-play for the Chargers and has been a radio personality in LA for years, reporting on all the teams there from the Chargers to the Rams to the Bruins and Trojans.

Since Justin went to the Chargers I have become a big Chargers fan. Money is my favorite media personality there (and there are several really good ones). I heartily recommend listening to Petros and Money. They are both down to earth, engaging, extremely knowledgeable and just plain fun, good dudes.

PS Guess I gotta start looking into the Atlanta area now! I hated that Marcus was sent to that organization in Tennessee (have disliked it since it grew up in Houston) and he never got a shot with the Raid-ahs(except for one fabulous contest last season against the Chargers... I was in heaven).

I have nothing but respect and admiration for Coach Whittingham and the Utes. That dude and program are tougher than a barbed wire sandwich. Am hoping Dan Lanning can bring the same attitude to Eugene. And I love Petros to. Authenticity is always refreshing.

Brock Huard, another ex Pac 12 player, is my favorite because of his exceptional knowledge of the game that he imparts in his broadcastingj.

John - I’m seriously considering subscribing. I’ve always read you first in my alma mater, the big “O.” Will you be doing much coverage of the Blazers inside happenings?? I enjoy reading about the PAC-12, but need my Blazers fix, too!

Not sure Colorado is a non-conference game for WSU

Ducks should be happy if they can go 2-1 in no conference play. Might be a tough start to the Lanning era down in Atlanta.

Coach Whitt is a treasure for not only us Utah fans, but to CFB. So lucky to have him as the patriarch of Pac 12 coaches! #leadsbyexample

Football? Can’t wrap my head around that yet…still waiting for MLB and my Mariners. Loved learning about Petros Papadakis. He sounds like the real deal who speaks from his heart and not his sponsors. Looking forward to your next take on sports in general.

I don’t buy that Petros dislikes SC. He was going ham when SC started to make noise nationally in early 2000s. He’s come a long way since ragging on UCLA. Like the time he said Robert Thomas tackles like a girl. Make no mistake. Deep down he bleeds C & G.

Oregon's game with Georgia is not a home game.

Being a UCLA die-hard, I had a rock in my sock attitude about Petros when I first saw him take the booth . BUT… I was quickly won over. I get it, he’s a real guy that plays fair… unlike another unnamed sc homer (think nfl qb flunkout) that’s getting face time on FOX. You go, Pete!

Petros Papadakis has made a reputation in LA for posing himself as a USC 'insider.' He's not. His father, a popular alumni who played LB'er there in 70's (and the only reason Petros was admitted to USC) was dropped by the school under pressure from the NCAA for using his restaurant as a recruiting tool. Petros seems to have taken it upon himself to avenge his dad with sour reporting on anything USC. He's become Johnny-One-Note. Gotta admit though--his color commentary has improved.
