Thank you for posting the game times and television broadcasting information. Sports are a life blood for us older crowd and depend on radio coverage as well :-) Wonderful reporting.

Exciting time for college football fans. The beer will be on ice, popcorn ready to go and my TV seat in front. Hope you are right on the Beavs and wrong on the Ducks….Go PAC-12. Thanks again all the information and incite.

I'm just not capable of picking against Oregon...

Good job! I can't find fault with any of your picks. Of course I would love to see Oregon

upset the Georgia Bulldogs. Is possible, perhaps not probable. Regardless, I wish all the Pac

teams well. Thank you for all you do for your members! Patrick Mulqueeney

Agree with picks except don’t expect USC to score that many points-think they won’t get past 30

While I would love to see the ducks win against Georgia, a lot of new coaches and a unproven offense might be too much to overcome this early in the season. Might be time to start to schedule easy wins before the league play starts. If you lose your first game there is little room for error the rest of the year.

Call it a biased opinion being an alum but I think Coach Smith will have a successful against the Broncos.

Beavs: 34 Broncos: 21

I hope the kids have fun, play their best, and are good at the sportsmanship part. AND I pick the Ducks. Always have to believe in their abilities.

SDSU head coach (one year wonder 2016) Brady Hoke totally destroyed Oregon's defense as

the DC and now seems to be hitting his stride...maybe.

John,

I enjoy your football info, but.........please don't forget we are in the midst of the WNBA playoffs. The games have been highly entertaining, and Candace Parker has evidently solved the problem of eternal youth. And a shoutout to Serena Williams is also in order. End of mini-rant. (Go Ducks!)
