A fun little exercise while we wait for Game 2 of the Corvallis Super Regional between Oregon State and Florida State: Who would you put on the Mount Rushmore of Oregon sports?
A friend of mine asked the question this week after I interviewed Pat Casey. The guy who built the foundation of OSU’s baseball enterprise has to be on the monument. Casey won three national championships, casts a John Wooden-like presence, and engineered the greatest on-field sports success story in state history.
