The Pac-12 rose from the dead and dominated Week 1 of the college football season. The conference went undefeated, seized the national spotlight, and reminded us all how ridiculous it is that the Pac-12 failed to secure a media-rights deal.

It went 12-0 in Week 1.

The Pac-12 is now 13-0 overall (USC is 2-0).

The point of this column isn’t to blame ex-commissioner Larry Scott, George Kliavkoff, a line of tone-deaf university presidents and FOX. I’ve done all that already. The point is to report in depth, write and tell you what I am thinking in the wake of a perfect Week 1.
