Canzano: Jody Allen raised a flag, a trophy... and a sale price

Here was Jody Allen on Sunday, on the perch at Lumen Field, raising the ceremonial “12” flag before kickoff of the NFC Championship game in honor of her late brother, Paul.

Same Jody, a few hours later, was being handed the George Halas Trophy on the FOX television broadcast. She stood on stage, giddy and bubbly, and cradled the thing like a supermarket cantaloupe after the Seahawks beat the Rams, 31-27.

Give the lady the hardware.
