Canzano: Indiana flattens Oregon in semifinal
Ducks need to get real with where they are.

ATLANTA — Dante Moore had a regrettable game. He threw a ‘Pick 6’ on the first play from scrimmage. Not long after that, Oregon’s quarterback dropped back to pass, had the ball knocked out of his hands by one of his own running backs, and the fumble gave Indiana the ball on the 3-yard line.
He had another fumble, too.
Also, Moore got sacked three times.
“If you blur your eyes a little,” cousin Sal from the Jimmy Kimmel Show tweeted during the game, “you can easily convince yourself that Dante Moore is already playing for the Jets.”
It was Indiana 56, Oregon 22 on Friday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
I’m kicking myself for believing any college football team could stay close to Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers this deep in the season. They’re peaking. They’ve outgrown the field. Drop the confetti from the rafters, already. Hand Indiana the CFP title trophy right now. I’ve seen enough. It’s over.
Apologies to Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes, but America’s best college football team just kicked Phil Knight’s alma mater in the teeth, and home advantage or not, IU is bound to do the same to the mighty “U” in 10 days in South Beach.
