Canzano: "I will fight to the bloody end"
Oregon State and Washington State prepare while ACC lurks.
The ACC presidents met Wednesday to discuss whether they will drive a stake through the heart of what’s left of the Pac-4 Conference.
The looming question?
Whether to add Stanford and Cal (and also SMU) to their conference. The ACC needs 12 of 15 votes to move forward. It has been stalled at 11. More meetings are scheduled this week.
Meanwhile, officials at Oregon State and Washington State remain in a holding pattern, plotting parallel paths for survival: one plan with Stanford and Cal — and one without.
Said one involved source: “I will fight to the bloody end.”
