I love how Nolan is playing right now. He's matured. He will be the difference in this game. He played well against SC last year. Beaver D is better than SC's. SC has a slightly better Offense..... maybe. The kicking game worries me. Don't judge this game off the common opponent. Fresno was beat up going into the coliseum after an emotional loss.

Beavs 35 to 31 in a lower scoring game than people think it will be.

Coug's by 3 over Oregon. Dickert is a helluva coach.

UCLA Big.

Trees keep it close in Seattle.

Utah play down to ASU but hangs on.

Cal squeezes by Zona.

Like many Cal alums I have been a stoic for quite some time. I fear the Arizona game will be a litmus test for the rest of the season.

Usc Covers vs OSU, UDub takes Stanford out to the wood shed. ASU and Colorado both lose.

What happened? Did you find your Bartlett's Book of Familiar Quotations on the shelf nearby or something? HA. I give you extra points for working them into your latest piece. Bravo.

Cougs over Ducks by 7

Lmao... BYU has a better dline, Georgia certainly does, yet our o line played excellent in pass pro. WSU is small but quick, a bunch of 1 offer guys. We will run all over you and control the game. Bo will not be sacked one time. Ducks 42 Cougs 24 only because Ducks play 2nd and 3rd string in the 4th. Everyone keeps talking about the Ducks difficulties in Pullman.... most of those if not all were far later in the season under horrid weather conditions. Bo will continue to excel and 3/4 of fans will pour out mid 3rd quarter!

This is not the slightest bit accurate.

pleeeze...I'm as big a duck fan as there is...but you are off the tracks delusional. The Coug's have given Oregon fits no matter the year, weather or venue. Take off the green & yellow tinted glasses...This game will be a fight to the end. Oregon 27 WSU 23. The Wazzoo QB gets a dose of reality. The Oregon D rises up and says "NOT so fast my friend" as a great sports commentator has said.

Apparently you haven't seen a single Coug game. I've seen all the Pac-12 games and you are drastically underestimating WSU. And overhyping BYU.

Bigger question, over or under? John, in an show of the respect due Jaden de Laura, is going with the over. 24-21 seems more like it.

Cougs beat quacks......the Willamette valley Goodwills gain lots of quacks gear by Monday.

The Beavs pound the rock, and do enough on defense to send the paid mercenaries of troy packin.

I don't know, John.....the 33-31 OSU win over USC reminds us that miracles do happen. I believe that we still have not seen the real USC. Everyone is drinking the Kool-Aid....I refuse to choke on that swill. My alma mater prevails!!!

Beavs win, 28-26. GO BEAVS!!!!!

a good man once said..."a dog can't change his spots". Karl Dorrell is a dog as a head coach...and I don't mean that in a good way. I cannot believe that guy keeps getting hired. He's proven time and again he's horrible as a head coach. UCLA has an incredibly easy schedule this year. I hope Chip enjoys it...It could be the last really good year UCLA has in long time.

UCLA easy schedule? No doubt, and all at home no less. But I think you're sleeping on this Bruin team. Senior-laden, tight group, veteran QB, and well-coached. Kelly's best offering to date. They will be a surprise come end of season, imo.

Swami Canzano has a good track record of predicting games. I was especially impressed when he correctly called OSU beating USC last year. I hope the Swami is wrong this year.

wow...Canzano picks the ducks to win and the beavz to lose...what's new.

Cougs win and so do the beavz this week, now that's bold predictions.

Hey Canzano. Slightly OT. What’s your take on Chip Kelly and Karl Darrell?

10 years ago Kelly was one of the hottest coaches out there. 3-4 great seasons at Oregon and the pretty much failed at Philly, SF and ucla. Do you think he inherited a good thing at UO and can’t do much on his own? Or Philly, SF and ucla are just bad fits for the dude? All things being equal, Would you rather have Chip or Jon Smith at Corvallis?

And Darrell? One good season at ucla. Nothing much else to talk about. You think the guy has just been put in bad situations or he isn’t quite “winner mentality” head coaching material?

Hey, thanks for the aggressive reply! I in fact actually played college FB and have been a lifer season ticket holder for UO thanks to my family and my brother went to WSU! Overhyping BYU?... please elaborate? I have watched every single Coug game this year, as that is the most relative metric, as is looking at the teams they have played! They are quick on d, and flow well to the ball, but their front is not the caliber of UO. Moreover, they have not played nor will, play what will turn out to be a top 5 Oline, nor a d nearly as talented as ours. I am glad you have time to watch "all the Pac-12 games" I wish I have the free time you have, I personally enjoy family time more than watching teams I could care less about! Lets continue this dialog of "mutual respect" after the game and if I am wrong by my personal opinion as to the score, I will eat crow. Also factors you seem to be dismissing are, entirely new team, 4 year Senior QB, one of the best O-lines thus far we have had in the past several decades, entirely new staff, healthy roster, etc... Hopefully in the future you can express your opinions without negativity or insults.

If I were you, call John and see if you can be a investigator for him, I mean, even the people who get paid to watch CFB for a living, don't have the time to "seen all the Pac-12 games."

Amen brother!

Go Ducks.
