I try to be a good father. Especially amid a busy college football season and what promises to be a wild basketball postseason. For that reason, I’m going to empty the notebook today in a way that includes my three kids.

Among the topics covered: Bobby Hurley, Dana Altman, Wayne Tinkle, Jase Coburn, Scott Rueck, Kelly Graves, Damon Stoudamire, my two youngest daughters, a bearded dragon lizard, a cat, graduate school, the regional bias of College Football Playoff leaders, and the Pac-12.
