Canzano: Dam Nation sues Blueprint Sports -- look out Oregon State
Discovery could be dicey for Beavers.
Oregon State may want to pay attention to the United States District Court filing on Wednesday, known as Dam Nation Collective, LLC v. Blueprint Sports and Entertainment, LLC.
From my vantage point, that freshly minted civil complaint looks like a slam-dunk win for the collective that was founded, operated, and then sold by Kyle Bjornstad. I’m making Bjornstad a 14-point favorite to win it, collect penalties, interest, and his attorney’s fees. But the complaint comes with tentacles that could be far more costly to OSU.
Bjornstad’s attorneys filed the civil complaint on Wednesday in Portland, accusing Blueprint Sports of failing to hold up its end of the $166,828.50 deal it cut last year.
